Shozo Michikawa was born 1953 in Hokkaido in Northern Japan.
After graduating from the Aoyama Gakuin University he settled as a potter in Seto, Aichi. Shozo Michikawa had numerous exhibitions in Japan, China, the Philipines, as well as France, the United States and England.
